A guilty Max is feeling sorry for himself after the accident, believing that his father doesn’t want to see him until Sadie points out that Max has always been his dad's favourite. Encouraged by Sadie's support, Max agrees to visit Tom in hospital. Simon confesses to Rodney that he has no choice but to sell his business. Rodney offers to help, but Simon is adamant that he’ll sort the mess out on his own. Rodney demands Simon should tell Nicola about the business failing as she is blissfully unaware and continuing to shop for items for their new home. Delilah demands that her services at the factory are made legitimate leaving Val with no option but to tell Eric she's been working for him.
