Jasmine fails to secure an advance from the factory and is forced to tell Cain that she's pregnant. When she asks him for money to pay for an abortion he is convinced that it is a lie and laughs it off. Meanwhile, Ashley confronts Zak about Sam’s part in Alice’s death. Zak firmly denies his son caused her death and tells Ashley that Sam is confused. Later, Sam is angered when Zak and Lisa tell him to lie to the villagers about the death. Elsewhere, Toni reveals her feelings to Paddy. He is embarrassed and thinks that she is joking. That evening she convinces Paddy that everything she said was true, only to be interrupted by Del.
