Episode 4525 (Thu 23rd Nov 2006)

Tom confesses that he will miss Rosemary and she engineers a permanent invite to stay at Home Farm. The announcement is greeted sourly by the Kings and Sinclairs so Tom proposes to a shocked Rosemary. Also, Jamie uses his new job with the Kings as a way to find evidence linking them to the house collapse. After rooting through their files he is caught by Chas who wants to help him. Jamie fires an insult at her before their argument is stopped by Carl. He fires Jamie outright. Meanwhile, Betty continues her attempts to lift Alan’s spirits but is frustrated by his bickering with Sandy. After hauling him to the Woolpack, Sandy jokingly tells Alan to lighten up. He is taken aback when Alan reveals the extent of his recent turmoil.
