The Devil as a Roaring Lion

A young boy finds a wounded, dying man hiding in his family's boat house. The man, a prospector who has just killed his partner in a dispute, at first frightens the boy, but as the two begin to get to know each other, they become friends. Eventually the boy suspects that the man might not be all he claims to be.
