Hürrem pushes to secure Mehmet’s governorship while Rüstem schemes against both Mustafa and Lütfi Paşa. Mustafa, feeling abandoned by his father, falls into Rüstem’s trap. Meanwhile, Lütfi Paşa’s violent outburst seals his fate, and Süleyman makes a decisive move about Mustafa that signals the beginning of the end.
