Mark Chapman introduces highlights and reaction from the day’s two Premier League games, including Manchester United v Liverpool at Old Trafford. It promised to be a fascinating clash between two north west rivals, with United, resurgent under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, taking on Liverpool, who have the league title firmly in their sights. The day’s other game was in London, with Arsenal hosting Southampton at the Emirates.
