Manet's classic painting "Luncheon on the Grass" not only adds a name, but in a way also a body, to today's program. This is because food is packed and cooked here, which can be consumed under the open sky. That today's menu entices with exotic names such as pain bagnat, ajo blanco and frittata is perhaps to be expected. But the fact that an eight-armed octopus and a pair of calf kidneys also end up in the picnic basket is probably more surprising.
