It's all about the materials on this episode of Trading Spaces! Designer Vern Yip strengthens a family room fireplace by covering it with slate tiles. Across the street, designer Frank Bielec softens up the master bedroom by hanging a silk canopy. Carpenter Amy Wynn Pastor is, unfortunately, stuck between a rock and a hard place as she can't find time to finish the armoire for Frank AND the entertainment center doors for Vern. Looks like we'll leave one set of homeowners with more work to do!
