Episode 1

Chang Wei-chieh and Lin Chih-chuan take Chi-shun out. Seeing Chen Pao assault Li Wen-kao, they pursue Chen and accidentally hurt passer-by Yeh Chiao-yi, but Chen flees. Then, finding Chi-shuo missing, Wei-chieh becomes jumpy. Chiao-yi coming upon Chi-shuo takes care of him. Passing through, Chang Fu-cheng and Li Li-mei take Chiao-yi for an abductor and reprimand her. The misunderstanding is subsequently cleared, but Chiao-yi remains resentful. Accompanied by Wei-chieh, Chiao-yi returns home to find it locked. Wei-chieh offers to dine with her. Wei-chieh also hands her a cake originally bought for Hsu Chiu-ping and this canes as a pleasant surprise to her who is having her 18th birthday. Wei-chieh becomes emotional when Chiu-ping asks him about his marriage with Shih Yung-chih. Together with Yeh Chang-hua, Chiao-yi attends Chiu-ping’s birthday party arranged by Wei-chieh.
