Episode 9

HUNG is having tea with YIP. FOOK shows up with PING. PING wishes that HUNG would take SHUI as his student. HUNG will not change his mind though. HUNG and YIP leave the restaurant for the train station, where they are picking up HON-BONG, HUNG’s eldest son. They brush past KONG, who under the arrangement of HANG has returned to Guangzhou. SHUI is on his knees when HUNG and his sons get back to Po Chi Lam, pleading for HUNG’s forgiveness. HUNG pays no attention to him though. YIP intercedes for SHUI and HUNG finally agrees to forgive SHUI. FA has helped LUNG. She demands him to treat her to dinner for her help. She also volunteers to teach him to read and write. SHUI’s friends throw a celebration for him at a restaurant the evening before the apprenticeship inauguration ceremony. He is so drunk that he picks up a fight with someone. YIP goes up to check out what is going on. He dies in HUNG’s lab as HUNG arrives.
