The Prime Ministers spy informs the king that Marshall is in the Commissionerate and the British plan to take Marshall away from Jhansi at the earliest. Laxmibai tells the king that such criminals deserve a death penalty and requests him to grant her the right to punish the culprit. He assures her that he would bring the culprit to her soon.
