Laxmibai falls when she goes to pray to the idol as Nelson had loosened the boulders. Ellis saves Laxmibai, but she faints. Nelson and Jankibai are upset. Gangadhar calls the royal physician. The royal physician says that though Laxmibai is hurt, she is not pregnant. Daima protests that she cannot be wrong. The royal physician tells that he is not mistaken.
