Rao Dulajo is publicly tortured in Jhansi by the subjects. They demand that his body be thrown out of Jhansi. Laxmibai then exhorts her subjects to unite to destroy their enemies like Hugh Rose. Karma and Ghaus Khan visit the site of explosion and get worried when they realise that one British officer has escaped. They convey this bad news to Laxmibai and the others.
