Razia captures Yaqut using a trap. Afraid of breaking the law, Mirza returns to the palace. An old woman attacks Iltutmish with a knife. She has held a grudge against him for the past 20 years. He secretly imprisons her. Meanwhile, Razia is surrounded by Yaqut's men. Yaqut explains Razia his reasons for the rebellion. Razia frees him and requests him to come to Delhi if he wishes. Yaqut is impressed with her love for her people and agrees to go to Delhi. Razia asks for her brothers' freedom.
