Are the state and police failing in the fight against right-wing extremism?

Horrible attacks like those in Hanau or Halle definitely show one thing: right-wing extremism still exists and is repeatedly expressed in right-wing terrorist attacks or other violent crimes. Germany is one of the countries in Europe with the most incidents of serious right-wing violence.
