When it comes to smart, funny women, Penny Marshall is in a league of her own. Rosie—with the help of some celebrity friends—celebrates her dear friend for her accomplished acting and directing career. Penny was a young single mom when she moved to Los Angeles in the early '70s to pursue acting. She got her first big break as Myrna Turner on The Odd Couple. She guest-starred on Happy Days as the lovable Laverne DeFazio, the role that then led to the spin-off show Laverne & Shirley. After directing a few episodes, she knew directing was her calling. She went on to direct box-office hits like Jumpin' Jack Flash, Big and A League of Their Own, starring a young Rosie! Penny talks openly about her legendary career, what it's been like to work with such talented actors and what she's up to now. And the show wouldn't be complete without Rosie sharing her hilarious Penny impression. Plus, Penny's daughter, Tracy, and her family surprise Penny onstage!
