Yet, for the sake of her child, she makes another immense sacrifice and manages to conceal her true identity. Still, even that isn’t enough to save her, she is soon referred to the prosecutor’s office on charges of theft. Just when it seems all hope is lost, a mysterious figure unexpectedly rescues Defne from prison. Meanwhile, Emirhan’s public press statement throws both his family and the media into chaos. What he believes is an attempt to find his missing wife instead unravels long-buried secrets and reopens deep emotional wounds. From that moment on, Defne comes face to face with Emirhan’s dark side for the first time. Barış, worried about Defne’s growing recklessness, sets out to prove that Emirhan is not the innocent man he appears to be.
