Cléber reminds Pedro that he can defend Adriana as a prosecution witness, and assures him that he is prepared to act in the case. Adriana is surprised when Tom is announced as a prosecution witness in her trial. Pedro defends Adriana in his testimony, revealing his feelings for her.
