Aspiring actor and hot-dog stand employee Bobby Taylor is scolded by his grandmother for chasing a role in an exploitation film. After landing a title role at Tinseltown Studios, his conflicted dreams satirize how Hollywood portrays African-American stereotypes, as he tries to balance ambition with being a positive example for his little brother.
