A boxer in Marseille is paid to take a dive, but when he wins instead of following the plan, he’s forced to flee and eventually joins the Foreign Legion. Sent to Morocco, he must survive military hardship, clashes with an abusive officer, and growing bonds with fellow legionnaires.
