During the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, eleven Israeli athletes are taken hostage and killed by a Palestinian terrorist group. In retaliation, the Israeli government recruits a team of agents to track down and carry out killings of those believed responsible, while the mission raises doubts along the way.
