Childhood chums Rocky Sullivan and Jerry Connelly grow up with very different futures: Rocky becomes a prominent gangster, while Jerry turns to the priesthood and serves their old neighborhood. Years later, their paths collide again as a group of street kids looks to Rocky, pushing Jerry toward a difficult choice about protecting them.
