In pre-revolution Havana, a struggling vacuum cleaner shop owner is drawn into the British Secret Service and asked to build a spy network. What starts as reluctant recruitment and improvisation soon snowballs as competing interests, false reports, and mounting danger tangle up his plans and pull him deeper into the operation.
