In rural Connecticut, baseball players try to survive a zombie plague by sticking to a buddy system: one plays catcher, the other pitcher, and together they outwit a batter who is also a zombie. Their constant disagreements are tested when a human voice breaks through their walkie-talkies, forcing tough questions about whether help is real.
