In Burma during the closing days of WWII, a Japanese soldier gets separated from his unit and disguises himself as a Buddhist monk to avoid imprisonment as a POW. As he searches for answers and struggles with what he’s seen, he ultimately turns his focus toward honoring the dead and returning to peace.
