During the World Cup in France, two young Tibetan refugees arrive at a Buddhist monastery in India expecting a quiet routine of study and contemplation. Instead, the community is swept up in soccer fever, and the students scramble to find a way to watch the final—testing rules, patience, and the monastery’s relationship with the modern world.
