A young, privileged newcomer “runs away” by buying a rundown building in a Brooklyn neighborhood and begins with plans to remove the current tenants to renovate it into something new. As he settles in, his intentions shift and he becomes drawn into the tenants’ lives, sparking tension, laughter, and uncomfortable reckonings.
