In 1348, as plague spreads across medieval England, a young boy’s recurring dream points to a lake, a church, and a prophecy of escape. Guided by that vision, he and a small group travel toward a distant cathedral, only to emerge in 1980s New Zealand, where they must complete their offering before time runs out.
