A teen is worn out by constant moves caused by her single mom’s string of disappointing relationships. Hoping to give her mom confidence and a reason to stay put, she invents an anonymous “perfect” admirer through letters and online messages, but the plan grows complicated as real feelings and everyday consequences start to catch up.
