In 1945 Burma, a bitter RAF bomber pilot struggles with the aftermath of wartime loss, feared for his reckless behavior by his own squadron. A doctor tries to help him heal through human connection, before a crash strands him and others behind enemy lines, forcing a dangerous fight to get home.
