Set in 1940 shortly after the Spanish Civil War, a young girl is captivated and unsettled after seeing James Whale's Frankenstein during a visit to her rural town. With help from her sister, she begins hearing stories that a terrifying presence may not be gone, and her imagination turns a nearby barn into a haunting place.
