In WWII Belgrade, black marketeers produce and sell weapons for the resistance, rising through shifting politics while enjoying their rise. One keeps climbing while breaking bonds, then the pair resurfaces decades later as conflict returns, turning their survival skills into a new way to profit and exploit chaos.
