After an injury during a saloon shootout, a sheriff and an unexpected captive are thrown into danger when their town is attacked and they both vanish. The remaining men, including the doctor’s assistant and the foreman’s wife, set off to search for them, uncovering signs of a cannibal tribe in remote desert caves.
