In 1991 Bosnia and Herzegovina, a man returns from Germany to reclaim his family home after decades away, arriving with wealth, a polished car, and a young bride. He is accompanied by a lucky black cat, and his comeback sparks uneasy tensions as old relationships and past grievances surface before war fully arrives.
