A young man is pressured into divorcing his wife due to her family’s reputation, then works exhausting hours to repay a wedding loan and provide restitution. When he falls behind, he flees into the desert and must share it with an unusual old man who survives by catching poisonous snakes, forcing tense, survival-based cohabitation.
