In a not-too-distant future, two drifters in the desert come across an enormous gold nugget, and the urge for wealth quickly takes over. One leaves to find heavy equipment while the other stays behind to guard the gold, facing brutal conditions, wild dogs, and unsettling visitors—wondering if he’ll be left there.
