Mickey 17 isn’t entirely successful given its ambition, but it’s hard not to admire its imagination, confidence and thoughtful production design. It’s both broadly comic and viciously scathing, but most of the humor fell pretty flat for me. It’s also jam packed with too many ideas, as opposed to Bong Joon Ho’s other genre efforts, like Okja and Snowpiercer that feel more focused and more successful. 10.2 / 17 Stars.
