Set in Taiwan during the unrest across the strait in 2019, a quiet young man splits his time between helping at a family restaurant and drifting through Taipei’s shadowy nightlife. When a dubious buyer targets the restaurant, he gets pulled into a chain of events shaped by money, pressure, and political corruption.
