Orphaned at birth and raised by storks, a teenage sparrow named Richard starts to believe he belongs with them. When the time to migrate arrives, his stork family leaves him behind, and he heads south alone—only succeeding with help from an eccentric owl and a flamboyant disco-singing parakeet as he searches for acceptance.
