A masterpiece in tone and animation. Audiences take for granted much of what Snow White introduced in 1937; multi-plane animation, a perfect use of rotoscoping and a playful & poignant tone. It’s pretty easy to admire some of the technical achievements of this movie, but the story is admittedly underwhelming, if not boring and cringey as seen through 2025 eyes. ❄️❄️❄️.5 / ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️.
