I guess the folks over at Sony thought they could make a gritty character study like Logan or Joker. They gathered enough talent for this project, but the end result is not much more than a pile of lion poop. There’s a dichotomy between the more grounded John-Wick style action & gang war plot and the fantastical feats and poorly rendered CGI animals. The lighting is pretty bad, but a few of the actors are trying and it moves enough to at least keep you from being bored. 🦁🦁 / 🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁.
