A strong first half, thanks to well conceived and choreographed fight sequences and good comedic energy between Liu and Awkwafina. The second half is some of Marvel’s worst instincts; it’s an attempt at a Game of Thrones style epic battle, with all sense of stakes and scale lost for the sake of spectacle. You can tell they tried really hard to make Morris, the headless winged fur ball, “a thing” to no avail. 🐉🐉🐉.5 / 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉.
