The most generous reading I can give Wicked and Wicked: For Good is that it makes me want to see the musical. For Good fails to capture the chemistry between Elphaba and Glinda that made its former half work. The other knock on this is that it desperately tries to capitalize on 1939 classic for the sake of nostalgia, instead of having the courage, heart or brains blaze its own yellow brick road. 🦁🦁 / 🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁.
