Transformers: The Movie might have worked great as a big budget Saturday morning cartoon, but without having seen the series or having any nostalgia for this movie, I was shocked at how hard it was to follow for how little there is going on. Some of the animation is great, but the tediously long action sequences feature needle drops that are as haphazardly placed as they are 80s. Despite Orson Welles involvement in this flick, Michael Bay was the one who seemingly made the Citizen Kane out of this material. 🚛🚛 / 🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛.
