John Hughes had an entire second career out of bumbling inept henchman after Home Alone, including Baby’s Day Out, 101 Dalmatians and Flubber. This Three Stooges inspired comedy is the worst of the bunch. Flubber is actually the best part of the movie and that’s saying something. References to the original play as absurd in this world (Brainard has missed his own wedding 3 times?) and his robot assistant Weebo’s constant cinematic references are as tiresome as she is. 🏀.5 / 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀.
