Denis arrives at the farm and angrily exchanges words with Joe. As he moves to leave, Joe's bull charges at Denis and pins him to the wall, crushing him. Joe drags Denis outside and discovers he's not breathing. Eric tells Alan that he's written out a contract regarding their business plan for Home Farm that Denis needs to sign. Denis is taken away in an ambulance.

The death of Denis raises awkward questions for Joe, but around Beckindale life goes on, with a surprise for Caroline - and an awful shock for Dolly.

Dolly tries to talk her way out of trouble, while Archie and Nick find the language barrier no problem in their pursuit of l'amour.

Dolly promises Ted she'll keep his secret in return for freedom - but will Dolly's promise be enough. Seth discovers that being a company director is hard work.

He tells Henry he's discovered Marian, Paolo and the children are holidaying in Capri.

After seeing the conditions of sheep in a Tate truck, Matt calls out the vet which causes trouble for Chris. Elsewhere, Sarah is surprised to learn of Jack's return whilst Joe proposes he buys Jack's share of farm.

Dolly informs Matt she wants a divorce. Elsewhere, Chris puts his foot in it with Kathy. Also, Rachel is devastated to learn Lynn's pregnant.
