Hamish Macbeth is a comedy-drama series set in the fictitious town of Lochdubh on the west coast of Scotland, where a local police officer handles cases in the middle of everyday small-town life. Loosely inspired by mystery novels, it blends light humour with engaging mysteries over three series from 1995 to 1997.
