Lisa and Dan's marriage is far from stable and their problems are highlighted by the arrival of vivacious and very-much-in-love new neighbours Jenna and Cameron, with war immediately waged between the women. Elsewhere, Pauline attracts the attentions of pub owner Trevor, though there may be more to the ultra-suave landlord than meets the eye, while Roger and Fergus become unlikely gym buddies.

Dan and Cameron bravely attempt to establish some peace between Lisa and Jenna. Plus, the Dawsons are confronted by an all-too-familiar face from their past.

Dan starts to question new landlord Trevor's intentions towards his mother. Meanwhile, Lisa attempts to make the opening of her new office a day to remember.

Lisa attempts to outdo Jenna when they both throw birthday parties for their daughters on the same day. Greg tries to adjust to life with new flatmate Bradley.

Lisa and Dan attempt to patch things up with a date night, but things fail to go exactly as planned, while Pauline has a terrifying encounter with a burglar. Bradley tries to stop Ella from dating the Millers' bad-boy son Finn, not knowing that Jenna and Cameron disapprove too, Roger and Fergus start to train for their mini-marathon and Denise approaches her agent regarding the dubious nature of some of her recent modelling jobs.

Lisa and Jenna's ongoing feud reaches a head when an argument lands them behind bars, Trevor takes Pauline out for the night, and Roger's jealousy reaches new heights when he begins to believe that Fergus and his personal trainer are dating. Elsewhere, Ella and Finn begin to take their relationship to the next level and there are unforeseen consequences for Denise when she quits her agency, taking a new recruit with her.

As her and Dan's marriage reaches crisis point, Lisa suggests they see a relationship counsellor, while Pauline decides to set the record straight following a stolen kiss with Trevor. Finn and Ella arrange to get away for the weekend, Denise helps Cazzy plan for her future and the day of Roger and Fergus's mini-marathon arrives.

As the truth behind landlord Trevor's scheming is revealed, the residents of Mount Pleasant are thrown into grave danger.
