Choi-go quits his job to focus on opening his fried chicken restaurant; Bo-a's grandfather rents out his spa to Choi-go without discussing it with Bo-a.

Bo-a makes flyers that read unattractive content about Choi-go's restaurant and distributes it with the intent of making it go under.

Choi-go decides to enter the chicken taster contest with the intent of promoting his restaurant. Bo-a follows to take him down.

Andrew tries Choi-go's chicken and comments it as the most terrible chicken he has ever tried. He goes into the kitchen and shares Bo-a and Choi-go the recipe.

Bo-a receives her first paycheck and plans a trip with her friends. For some reason, the restaurant begins to fill with customers and Bo-a feels restless about it.

Bo-a is uncomfortable having So-dam, Choi-go's ex-girlfriend and a broadcasting writer, around Choi-go. Sodam wants to cast Choi-go and his restaurant.

Choi-go's chicken restaurant gets suspended for selling alcohol to minors. He decides to work part-time to make up for the losses. Worried about Choi-go's health, Bo-a lets him rest at her place.

So-dam tells Choi-go that Bo-a's friends are scheming for his downfall. However, Choi-go refuses to believe that Bo-a means him any harm. So-dam advises Choi-go to doubt Bo-a's intentions.

After her mother opened a new chicken restaurant with the recipe she revealed, Bo-a decides to quit Choi-go's restaurant out of guilt. She confesses her inner feelings regarding the restaurant to Choi-go.

Choi-go and Bo-a realize their feelings toward each other and become lovers. Meanwhile, Bo-a's friends, who assisted in her attempts to run Choi-go's restaurant out of business, spot Bo-a and Choi-go on their date.

Bo-a's grandfather passes away, and Gong-chul, Bo-a's father, turns up at the funeral. Bo-a gets confused about her father's sudden appearance. Later, Gong-chul visits Choi-go to complain about the lease agreement.

Choi-go and Bo-a uncover Gong-chul's plan to develop the streets and build a shopping center. They decide to bring the small businesses together to prevent the vendors from losing their livelihood.
