Meryem, Naim and their daughter Zeynep, who live in the apartment of the sect called "Mortals", migrate to Istanbul after the earthquake in their hometown. Meryem, who dreams of sending her daughter to school, is unaware of the plans of the sect and Naim for her daughter. Levent, a secular Ataturkist psychiatrist, crosses paths with Cüneyd, the favorite grandson of the sheikh of the sect, as a result of a forensic case. Levent, who knows the Mortals from his years of compulsory service, struggles with the conservative perspective of the sect in order to help Cüneyd, while grappling with the turmoil of his personal life. The secret that Levent and Meryem unknowingly bring from the past has the power to change everyone's lives.

Levent and Meryem's meeting causes two opposing worlds to collide, and the two girls, who do not know that they are sisters, experience a new push and pull with every encounter. The tension between Meryem and İdris Efendi in the börek shop causes developments that Sadi Hüdayi and Hasna never expected and creates a bomb effect inside the tekke. Levent begins to realize the secrets of Cüneyd's past that caused his traumas. Mira adds a new one to her mistakes when her mother suddenly disappears. Levent, who learns that Zeynep will be married off at a young age, will put Meryem on an irreversible path.

Levent's attempt to save Zeynep is thwarted from a place he never expected. Meryem, who dreams of her daughter's education, learns about Naim and the sect's plan for her daughter Zeynep. While Naim is calculating his rise within the sect, Meryem is trying to save her daughter. Cüneyd's tense moods make his uncle Sadi Hüdayi worry. He intends to realize the plan they have thought for his future and the future of the order as soon as possible. His wife Hasna and daughter Feyza have other plans. As Mira's anger towards her father grows, she gets herself into even bigger trouble.

A ceremony is organized at the dervish lodge for the marriage of Cüneyd and Zeynep. At the ceremony, unexpectedly, Meryem also approves of her daughter's marriage. Because Meryem and Levent have other plans. Seeking to buy time, Meryem and Levent try to send Zeynep to study abroad with the help of Suavi, but for this, Zeynep will have to answer a very difficult question. While Cüneyd thinks he is walking into a new future with Zeynep, the ghosts of the past will haunt him.

Levent and his brother Hande have an internal showdown with their father Suavi in the hospital. Mira is about to get into big trouble with Can. Meryem may be turning Levent's house into a warm home, but the eyes of those who cannot tolerate this are on them.

While Suavi and Levent try to remove the obstacles to sending Zeynep away, Cüneyd, who wants to meet Levent, learns about Suavi's illness. Cüneyd and Sadi decide to make a surprise visit to the patient by taking those in the dergah with them. This visit will give Müyesser the opportunity to pursue her suspicions about Levent and Meryem.

Cornered by Müyesser, Meryem is forced to choose between what she believes in and her daughter. The only salvation is that the plan they made with Levent to go abroad works. But first they have to reach Zeynep, who has been kidnapped by Cüneyd.

Levent, who is about to send Zeynep away, is cornered by sudden news and has to choose between his daughter and Zeynep's fate. On the other hand, Naim tries to test Meryem, whom he is sure is up to something, with Zeynep. Zeynep's inability to escape abroad will mean her inability to escape from Cüneyd. Dergah takes a new decision for the two. However, Meryem has no intention of abandoning her daughter to her fate. As a last resort, Meryem attempts a very dangerous game. On this path, Meryem will be helped by Beste, who begins to see her as a threat. However, the adventure that the two embark on without Levent's knowledge brings Meryem and Zeynep face to face with death.

Mira's life is thrown into turmoil by her doubts about who her real family is. For Levent and Beste, it is time to answer to Mira. On the other hand, Sadi Hüdayi, Cüneyd, Meryem and Levent are about to meet the sword of justice because of Hayri who got hold of Hande's news revealing the dirty secrets of the sect.

Fearing that Mira will go after her real family, Levent seeks help from Meryem, the only person he believes can convince her. While Meryem is caught between betraying Suavi's secret and lying to Levent, she tries to dissuade Suavi from his decision to euthanize her.

Meryem is devastated when she learns from Beste that Levent lied to her about Zeynep's departure. While Levent gets into a big fight with Beste, Meryem, who has lost trust in Levent, decides not to go to that house again after she and Zeynep, who is unaware of what happened, dissuade Suavi from euthanasia. On the other hand, Feyza, whose trap she set for Zeynep is revealed, is in danger of losing everything. The fact that Cüneyd makes the decision about Feyza causes Sadi to see him as an open rival to his power for the first time. The only way out of this situation will be Affan, the powerful groom candidate Sadi has found. However, Feyza's fate will be her own choice.

Levent learns that his father has decided to be euthanized and is going abroad. He confronts his father Suavi on the one hand and struggles with the surprises of his daughter Mira on the other. Suavi, who needs Levent's signature to put his decision into practice, has a new plan.

When Meryem, who has been trying to hide what happened to her from everyone, is finally caught by Zeynep, her daughter encourages her mother to ask Levent for help and put an end to everything. But Naim has no intention of leaving Meryem and decides to test her with her worst nightmare. As Suavi goes to his death, there seems to be no ray of hope left to save Meryem from this dark end.

Levent and Meryem rejoice when Mr. Suavi gives up on euthanasia and goes to the dervish lodge to get permission for Meryem. On the morning of Eid, the consequences of Murshid Effendi's decision on Meryem become clear. The sounds of disturbance that begin to shake the order become a sign that Meryem will not be able to get used to her new life very easily, while Sadi, Hasna and Müyesser Cüneyd come face to face.

Cüneyd is devastated to learn that his mother committed suicide, contrary to what he thought. But Cüneyd is not the only one stunned by what he knows. Levent, who learns that Mira's real mother is Meryem, is caught between his conscience and his fears. Meanwhile, Meryem learns an important secret about Cüneyd and Zeynep and is cornered.

The sect is shaken by Meryem's move and Cüneyd, Sadi Hüdayi, Hasna and Naim are detained. Zeynep is also placed in the Child Monitoring Center. Sadi Hüdayi, who does not know the whistleblower and blames Levent, is not only worried about the health of Cüneyd in custody but also doubts what he will confess. Affan, who wants to use the confusion in the dervish lodge to his advantage, comes to Sadi Hüdayi with a very dangerous proposal about Mürşid, while Cüneyd tries to find him to meet his grandfather. At the end of the day, when Sadi Hüdayi is about to take the post, Cüneyd will use a centuries-old tradition of the dergah to raise a flag for his uncle. Levent will confront Meryem in order to save Zeynep despite Irfan Bey's pressure.

As Zeynep is temporarily handed over to the Levent's, an angry Naim starts looking for ways to get his daughter back, but he also takes his anger out on Meryem. On the other hand, Cüneyd, who decides not to swear allegiance to his uncle after talking to Zeynep, must either win a three-pronged battle or accept solitary confinement, but a disaster that befalls Zeynep forces him to make a vital choice.

Stunned by Zeynep's decision to return to Naim's side, Levent and Meryem pursue the secret behind this decision. However, Meryem, who wants to be by her daughter's side, will not be welcomed at the dervish lodge where she goes on a rampage. On the other hand, with Hasna and Müyesser's capture of Birgül, Sadi, who has to defeat Cüneyd one last time to get the post, has a big trump card in his hand. Naim will also line up next to him on this path. Levent, Beste and Meryem, unaware of the whole truth, decide to send Mira abroad immediately to prevent Naim from using Mira against Zeynep.

The return of Vahit, Cüneyd's father, surprises everyone and Cüneyd, who is about to take his post, is shaken by this encounter. On the other hand, Mira, who does not reveal what she heard to Levent and Beste, tries to find the definitive proof to be sure of what Naim said. Levent, on the other hand, is suspicious of Vahit, who appears in front of his son in a distraught state after years, looking like a dervish who has given up everything. Sadi, who is preparing to leave the dervish lodge to join the elders, stands by his brother as Vahit stands by Cüneyd even in his most difficult moments and supports his son.
